Start Acting!!
Recently, I heard something strange “yet again”, it's already been thousands of times, however, this time it made an impact and forced me to give it a stern contemplation so here I am,
“The time wasn't good”, they said, without a subsequent thought I abruptly said, “Yeah happens! Sometimes, it’s just not our day” just when I finished my sentence, I realized how easily we blame time for our bad decision making, wrong judgments, procrastination and zero hard work, don't we?
Slowly it is becoming a kind act of self-counseling, telling ourselves that we are always the best at everything, it is time that has gone wrong, it is our destiny that just doesn’t work, it hurts me, even more, when people dwell on their past without realizing they are actually obliterating their present.
Leisure was written by W.H. Davies in 1911 and it was then that he showed the present reality, how busy we are and what all are we missing on...
Well, coming back to the point, when we say that the timing was wrong then why do we justify the situations and what makes us claim that the situations were right while the time was wrong, for instance, Gary had an extensive experience in finance, but hasn’t been working for 4 years, he now went for an interview without much knowledge of the current trend, and software which these days people in industry use and since he knew that he wasn’t working since very long he was low on confidence and this low confidence further facilitated him lose this opportunity, he came out and said “the time isn’t just good!! Though the situation was just perfect, I needed this job and this opportunity!!” makes sense?? Blaming time and justifying the situation?? Justified?? I believe of course not!!
No matter how much you try to force something, how well you justify your relationship with the other person and the situation you are stuck in, it is simply not going to happen because if something is really meant to happen, besides, if the situation is so good just as conducive for something to happen as it must be, it will not take another second for the fantasy to turn into the perfect dream reality.
But along with the perfect timing and the right opportunity, it takes hard work, right approach, a little sacrifice and lots of adjustments, understanding of what’s right and what’s wrong, acceptance and courage to move on and or to stick to what we want which in totality is Sustainability to achieve our dreams.
You need to stop blaming time for your acts, face your mistakes and wrong decisions and start believing in “there is no right time, but today” if you are not able to do it today, what can make you do it tomorrow?
The right person and the situation is going to remain right at all times and wrong will remain wrong under every circumstance, it is a state of mind that manifests the situation we are in and therefore it is the state of mind that decides the bad and the good timing of the situation and not the situation.
See the extent to which we justify, we claim “this would be perfect if only this were 5 years from now or 10 years sooner”, either we dwell in the past or dream the future, either ways we are only wasting our time in the veil of being busy.
It is not the right thing at the wrong time, but the unfavorable situation at a certain time period. Every word we use has a certain depth and it is important to understand the depth of the situation and the words we use before we spill them out.
- Yeah, if the situations are not conducive, move!! Because you are not a tree
- Leave the people if they are not helping you grow
- Leave the relationships if they are not able to give you contentment, peace of mind, growth
- Don't blame time blame your decision; start accepting your faults and improve yourself to be able to prove yourself right
- Life is a journey and you need to keep moving, you just cannot sit and wait for the right things to happen on their own
- Don't fall for temporary happiness; build long-term goals
- Every time is just perfect which pushes you a little closer to your goal
- The right person will always be encouraging
